NAVAIR using Scanivalve equipment to measure pressures around a jet blast deflector behind the Lockheed F-35 JSF.
August, 2011 -- Partnering with Aeroprobe and using Scanivalve
Equipment, NAVAIR recently completed extensive testing the new
F-35's behavior with jet blast deflectors. Scanivalve
equipment measured over 400 pressure points using a standard
DSM3400 and ZOC33 modules installed in Thermal Control Units.
