Q: How often should I calibrate the module?  Answer

I cannot communicate with the Unit on the Ethernet connection.

Verify that the Ethernet cable is the correct cable for the connection. A Straight wired@ cable must be used if the Host computer is connected to the DTS module through a hub. For direct connections from a Host to a DTS module, a Across wired@ cable must be used.

The Host computer must have an IP address specified to be in the same class as the DTS module. That is, if the DTS module has an IP address of 191.30.5.100, the Host computer must have an IP address of 191.30.x.y.

The IP Address in a DTS3250 series module may be changed by a user. The IP address is stored as a variable in the operating system. This variable can be changed only by using the RS232 connection. A procedure for this may be found in the DTS3250 Manual
