Automotice & Race Cars
Almost all automobiles and race cars go thru wind tunnel testing, both as models and as full size cars. They then get testing on a road track to validate the real world to the wind tunnel model testing. Scanivalve pressure scanners are used to measure the aerodynamic pressures of the models and full size road tests.
Wind Tunnel models--Pressure scanners are measuring blockage pressure, under the car air pressures, and general aerodynamics. Full size car road tests have Scanivalve pressure scanners located in the cabin connected to a PC or their own data system.
